I have a 9550 I'll see how it runs after work. I dl'ed the demo last night

As far as the monitor the only limit is the refesh rate run it too hight it will damage the monitor.

I can run my monitor at 85 mhz refesh.

I'm still on agp kinda sucks I have to pay more for agp.
I was looking at some of the nicks on dh looks like the diehard ut99 peeps don't like ut3. Thats ok I'm sticking with 99 but I'll play around with ut3 too.

Tell us how it plays.

But i think its going to be as bad as my was.

Yes i said was, i did`nt want to wait so i went to circuit city and bought a GeForce 7600 GS 8x 512mb card.

Only played 1 map but i now OWN those pc bots.

To tell you how bad it was with my old card before, try playing ut2004 on a pc with a 233mhz cpu and a 16mb video card and tell me how that worked.

Im running UT 3 with a x1950pro and getting 95 fps with a fair bit of flux. Graphics are set on 2 and 1 :( I cant seem to go much higher than that without sufferin in the frames. I thinking I should be getting a little better? The requirements seem pretty low for this game which makes me think it should be running better.

How much RAM do you got EnZo? Do you have a dual-core CPU?

Unreal Engine 3 relies heavily on RAM and CPU (Especially dual-core).

Max settings? Because if that's the case, you're getting a much better average then me! And I'm on a dual core CPU with 2GB of good RAM with an overclocked 8800GTS. I'm not calling you a liar or anything, but I'm pretty surprised!

I keep it on because if I turn off the cap the FPS spikes up to 140FPS and it gets really choppy when it's that high. Sometimes I'll uncap it just for kicks, though I prefer a constant 62FPS than a inconsistent 100-70FPS.

I do alot of the ini tweaks you can find online I believe I made a post for that. But after I do some of the tweaks I go into game config and set everything on high. And in one of the ini's there is a fps setting I have it set for 150 max, and that is what I get on most maps consistanly 150. Sometimes it will dip down around 110-120 in certain maps but it isnt noticable because its still so smooth :).

Yeah, it's great to see how smooth the game runs yet it's so detailed!

Under my older 8800GTS, I was getting a average of 75 FPS on max settings. Now with my new 9800GTX, I'm getting 100 FPS average on max settings (I only tweaked the ini files so the shadows look better, which shouldn't decrease performance much).
