I'm having an issue with the music. Many maps have varying types of music, either the music out of the box, or music thats been downloaded with a map. I have all the music files in my music folder, however In-game, the map music simply wont play. Only the UT menu music, constantly recycled.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I figured it out, the Xidia expansion I installed, its audio options were set to FORCE MUSIC: And a dropdownlist, and it was at force menu music, I turned off that option and everything is back to normal

Probably had to do with the Oldskool mod, it does that by default for some odd reason.

I sometimes play with music, it really depends on my mood when I'm playing. Being as how I'm not competitive like others, I generally don't mind losing or anything of that sorts. But like I said, it depends on my mood.

I always have music when I'm playing single player mods like Seven Bullets or Unreal, it creates the atmosphere that's really needed in single player mods. Without music in those sort of things, it's just bland and boring.

After hearing UT3's music soundtrack, I can safely say I'm keeping music on no matter what!

What jake said for Single Player Mods.

As for online play, I dont have the music LOUD, I have it on enough so I can hear it and get into a mood, I also am not super competitive, because Those types of people arnt fun to play with. Gaming is for FUN, its not a skill, its not something that will be life destroying in the real world. So I treat it as such.

It is a skill I think or a gift. As far as the music I have music vidio's blasting while playing ut.If it's a serious game I would listen for footsteps and ware a headset. I play a lot of diskgolf and treat that game the same as ut if you want to win you can't be pissing around you need to play the game , keep the right mindset while playing, play for fun and play to win if you feel you need a win. I'm not that good but I try like hell sometimes lol,
