AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ Windsor
G.SKILL 2GB DDR2 SDRAM
Western Digital 160GB
Not the best PC in the world, but this is what we've gotten so far. This should be a pretty good upgrade, especially since he only wants to play his current games (GTA:SA, UT2004, and later on UT3 and GTA4) better. It's not really meant to be a monster PC by any means, so don't go telling me I can raise the bar a bit ok? |

Just curious - what's the cost of this system so far?
I'm hoping by some miracle I get myself an inexpensive gaming computer before I'm done with college. Not likely, but it would be sweet. |

It's about $430 so far, which is what I'd consider pretty decent for a PC that can run current games. I'm hoping to start working on it in mid. January or so, depending on available parts and money. |
